Women’s Intermediate Handgun Class

This class builds on the fundamentals taught in the Intro to Handgun course and is designed for women who want to deepen their understanding and confidence with handguns in a supportive environment. Taught by a USCCA female firearms instructor, this course is held in a welcoming atmosphere where questions are encouraged and learning happens at your pace.

During this class, students will:

• Explore the differences between semi-automatic pistols and revolvers, including the pros and cons of each

• Learn how common firearm malfunctions occur and how to safely and effectively correct them

• Learn & practice important range commands

• Review of: Grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger manipulation, breathing

• Apply skills through guided on-range and off-range exercises

This class includes both classroom instruction and live-fire range time, giving students the opportunity to put what they learn into practice under instructor guidance. You will receive a copy of Women’s Handgun & Self Defense textbook to take home for reference and practice.
