Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Cadence Defense, we understand that plans can change. We strive to provide a fair and flexible cancellation policy while recognizing that our classes have limited enrollment and require advance planning. This policy explains your options if you need to cancel or reschedule a class.

Student Cancellations

More Than 7 Days Before Class

If you cancel your registration more than seven (7) days before the scheduled class, you may choose one of the following:

• A refund to your original payment method, less any non-refundable payment processing or transaction fees actually incurred by Cadence Defense, or

• A full class credit toward any future Cadence Defense class.

Class credits are valid for 3 months from the original class date.

Between 3 and 7 Days Before Class

If you cancel between three (3) and seven (7) days before the scheduled class, you may:

• Transfer your registration to another available class at no additional charge, or

• Receive a full class credit valid for 3 months.

Refunds are generally not available during this period.

Less Than 72 Hours Before Class

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled class are generally not eligible for a refund or class credit, as your reserved seat is unlikely to be filled on short notice.

However, in the event of a documented medical emergency, family emergency, or other extraordinary circumstance, Cadence Defense may, at its sole discretion, approve a one-time transfer or class credit.

No-Shows

Students who fail to attend a scheduled class without prior notice will forfeit their registration fee and are not eligible for a refund or class credit.

If Cadence Defense Cancels a Class

If Cadence Defense cancels a class due to weather, instructor illness, insufficient enrollment, range availability, or other unforeseen circumstances, you may choose one of the following:

• A full refund (with no deduction for payment processing fees),

• A transfer to another available class, or

• A full class credit.

Cadence Defense is not responsible for incidental expenses, including travel, lodging, ammunition, meals, lost wages, or other costs associated with attending a class.

Private Instruction

Private lessons require advance scheduling.

• Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled lesson may be rescheduled or refunded (less any non-refundable payment processing fees).

• Cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice are generally not eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled at Cadence Defense's discretion.

Gift Certificates & Promotional Registrations

Gift certificates are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Promotional pricing, discounts, complimentary registrations, and donated class certificates have no cash value and are not eligible for refunds.

Payment Processing Fees

Online payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.

Some payment processors do not refund the transaction fees they charge when a payment is refunded. If you request a refund, Cadence Defense may deduct any non-refundable payment processing or transaction fees actually incurred before issuing your refund.

Choosing to receive a class credit or transfer instead of a refund will generally preserve the full value of your registration.

Weather

Training is conducted rain or shine unless Cadence Defense determines that weather or other conditions make it unsafe to proceed.

If a class is canceled due to unsafe conditions, registered students will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and may choose a refund, transfer, or class credit.

Our goal is to provide every student with a positive training experience. Whenever possible, we encourage students to reschedule or accept class credit rather than cancel their training. This allows us to continue investing in high-quality instruction while preserving the full value of your registration.

Cadence Defense reserves the right to interpret and apply this policy in a fair and reasonable manner. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion based on individual circumstances and shall not constitute a waiver of this policy for future requests.
