Cadence Defense is a Northern Nevada–based firearms and personal safety training company dedicated to developing safe, confident, and capable individuals through professional instruction and real-world preparedness.

Our programs emphasize responsible firearms handling, practical self-defense, situational awareness, and a mindset rooted in safety, accountability, and continual improvement. Led by USCCA Certified Instructors and NRA Certified Range Safety Officers, we provide structured, high-quality training designed to meet students at every experience level—from first-time shooters to experienced concealed carriers seeking advanced proficiency.

From Nevada CCW and LEOSA qualifications to women’s-only classes, co-ed instruction, private coaching, and introductory firearms education, Cadence Defense offers a clear and supportive path toward greater confidence, competence, and readiness.

We are proud to serve the Carson Valley and surrounding Northern Nevada communities, including Minden, Gardnerville, Carson City, Dayton, Genoa, Reno, and the Lake Tahoe area.

As part of our continued commitment to community preparedness, we are proud to bring the National Shooting Sports Foundation First Shots program to Northern Nevada, helping introduce new shooters to firearms ownership in a safe, welcoming, and educational environment.

Looking ahead, Cadence Defense is expanding into emergency medical and trauma-response education, including Stop the Bleed and first-aid training, because we believe preparedness is about more than defense alone—it is about protecting and preserving life.

Our mission is to empower individuals and families through practical training in firearms safety, personal defense, and emergency response—building safer, more capable communities through education, preparedness, and responsibility.
